American Shingle Style

Located on a single block lined with historic cottonwoods in Aspen’s West End. This house sets on an expansive lawn behind a low stone wall. Its large bay windows, massive chimney and steeply pitched gables reinforce the American ideas of home and hearth.

The dark shingle clad house makes strong reference to the shape, form and proportion of the neighborhoods original Stick Style houses. Ornamentation and color have been minimized giving the structural features of the house a deserved prominence.
